Apologizing right off the bat? I'm impressed.

And no wonder, since I've "hinted" at nothing; rather, my information
is entirely accurate, clear and succinct: not a "hint" to be found!

A: self-explanatory(hint: look up the word 'facts' in your dictionary).

You're loathsomely ill-informed, professor.

Be edified:
The last book of the Hebrew Canon, Revelation of John, was
completed no later than 96 AD at the Greek island of Patmos.
The oldest known complete koiˇne´ Greek codex of the New
Covenant portion of the Hebrew Canon is Codex Aleph/Sinaiticus,
discovered at Mt. Sinai in 1844-59, dated ~2nd century AD;
The International Standard Gregorian Calendar was introduced
in 1582 under Pope Gregory XIII(Ugo Buoncompagni, 1502-1585)
based on a formal proposal solicited from Jesuit astronomer
Christopher Clavius(1537-1612), which hed compiled based on
some suggestions by astronomer and physician Luigi Lilio(?-1576),
but most especially, he'd based it on the meticulous work of 7th-
century Anglo-Saxon monk, scholar, historian and theologian, the
most venerable St. Bede(673-735). This proposal/papal bull
officially appeared in February 1582;
The Julian Calendar was invented by Greek scholar and Alexandrian
astronomer Sosigenes in 44 BC at the behest of Gaius Julius Cćsar,
although not made operational until 2 AD under emperor Augustus;
The Julian Day number system is the preferred dating system used.
The Julian dating system commonly used by astronomers must NOT be
confused with the Julian calendar, but was named for the classical
scholar Julius Cćsar Scaliger(1484-1558) by his son Joseph Justis
Scaliger(1540-1609), a prolific writer whose works were published
posthumously in 1610. Among his crowning achievements was a
scientific study of previous calendars entitled 'Opus de
emendatione tempore'(dated 1583).
The first Julian day of the Julian Period("Scaliger Cycle" of 7980
years) was assigned by Scaliger as day ZERO(0) starting at at precisely
12 AM GMT January 1, 4713 BC(proleptic Julian calendar). Astronomical
calculations are based on the same Julian system but are exactly 12
hours LATER plus one whole year LATER than this for BC dates, so that
-4712-01-01 = 12 PM GMT January 1, 4713 BC, thusly Julian dates are
calculated by adding the number of days from -4712-01-01 plus the
mathematical fraction of that particular day counting from noon +/-.
And while Scaliger originally designated 12 AM GMT as xx.00, it is
convention for all astronomical calculations to recognize xx.00 as
12 *PM* (noon)GMT beginning a Julian day, with xx.25 as 6 PM GMT,
xx.50 as 12 AM, etc.
Historical/chronological dating is typically rendered as an simple
integer, e.g., anytime starting 12 AM GMT Thursday, September 19, 457
BC through 11:59 PM GMT corresponds to Julian Day 1554766, while in
astronomical terms that same Julian date is reckoned in Jerusalem,
Israel would be JD 1554766.00000 *only* at 2:00:00 PM Jerusalem time,
since Jerusalem time is at GMT +02:00. IOW, 12:00 PM(noon) in Jerusalem
is only **10:00 AM** in Greenwich, England, so 12:00 PM in Jerusalem on
September 19, 457 BC corresponds to JD 1554765.91667, since 22/24's of
1 = 0.9166666666667, truncated to five decimal places = 0.91667, which
is added to the PREVIOUS Julian day. My New Moon/Full Moon astronomical
data is provided for reference to the Jewish lunisolar calendar dates,
since these months don't always begin on the new moon[Heb. molad], but
are often delayed for one or two days pending *observation* of the new
moon, but ALSO in accordance with strictly-observed Jewish lunisolar
calendar rules, most of which calendric rules are based in the Hebrew
Torah(Law), and in ALL cases have been based on both observation AND
calculation from the time of Moses(!). Quoting here directly from the
Universal Jewish Encyclopedia's article 'New Moon':
"...It was not until the middle of the 4th cent. B.C.E. [before the
Christian era] that the astronomical calculation of the new moon,
which had, for along time, and up to that period, been guarded as
the secret knowledge of the dynasty of the Patriarchs [Abraham,
Isaac and Jacob] in Palestine, was made public."
12th-Century scholar Moses ben Maimon[a.k.a. Maimonides] understood
that the rules of calculation were explicitly given to Moses on Sinai,
and thereafter, that molad proclamational authority issued forth from
the Elders, the Court of the Sanhedrin, quoting here from 'The Code of
Maimonides' 3-8, Sanctification of the New Moon:
"...The court followed a tradition transmitted by the Sages from one
generation to another on the authority of Moses" ... "on the basis
of calculation."
Maimonides CLEARLY understood that this calculation had since Moses'
day enjoyed *precedence* over observation alone...and why not? e.g,
just look at 1Ki4:7, and 1Chr27:1-15, showing normal years of twelve
months, while comparing Ezek 1:1-2 with 3:4,15-16, and Ezek 8:1[ibid],
show that fully 437 days must have elapsed between these chapters 1-8,
proving that a 13th intercalary month was added with 6 days to spare
(avg. 29.5 d/m)! See also Exo 34:22 where "the Feast of Ingathering
[Tabernacles] is at[near] **year's end**[Heb. tkufah, equinox, either
spring or fall]. And there's MORE scriptural and secular-historical
evidences for the ancient lunisolar calendar(e.g. Elephantine and
Kraeling 6 Aramaic Papyri), but I'll leave you with this verse
pending followup(s):
"And God made two great lights; the greater
light to rule the day, and the lesser light
to rule the night: he made the stars also."
