Mam selecta z wielu milionów wierszy
     try {
         sql::ResultSet *res = stmt->executeQuery(sql_statement);
         while (res->next()) {
			akcje
		}
       delete res;
     }
     catch (sql::SQLException &e) {
       cout << "# ERR: SQLException in " << __FILE__;
       cout << "(" << __FUNCTION__ << ") on line " << __LINE__ << endl;
       cout << "# ERR: " << e.what();
       cout << " (MySQL error code: " << e.getErrorCode();
       cout << ", SQLState: " << e.getSQLState() << " )" << endl;
     }

Tam gdzie są akcje mogę wrzucić informację o postępie, ale samo 
stmt->executeQuery(sql_statement) wykonuje się najdłużej. Czy w 
Connectorze jest możliwość zadania jakiegoś callbacka, który 
wielokrotnie byłby wołany?
