HELP: Conan the Cimmerian

I need some help on solving one of the quests in CONAN THE CIMMERIAN
by Virgin Games.
[MINOR SPOILER ALERT]

I've killed the big snake and returned the gems and then I've
got the King's Sword and Crown from the Crypt. I also returned
the Staff of Power to the priest. I'm stuck on the next quest,
the one with the monolith and the captive queen. I recognize
that the monolith is magnetized, but I can't find any weapon
to combat the 'priestess' that isn't attracked to the monolith.
I've tried using the ruby amulet and the freeze amulet, to no
avail. I've also tried using the King's Crown. What am I
doing wrong? Is there another 'mini-quest' that I have to
complete first in order to find a weapon to use against the
beasty?

Thanks!

Usually I'm against all these calls for splits, but I may go with you on
this one. What about it, are you RPG'ers tired of reading our posts?
:-)

Would be nice to get quicker access to some of those nifty iideas,
programs that appear on Compuserve etc.

Speaking of which, can someone upload that F3maps (or whatever) to
wuarchive?

I'd prefer no split as I play both kinds and read all related posts.

Well, almost. :-)

At first, I passed this off as a great idea that would never fly . . . ;-)

Seriously, what do you people think of this idea? I'm for it.

Yeah, anybody out there have Compuserve account that doesn't cost you tons of
money to get stuff from? I'm *still* looking for the demos of Strike Eagle III
from MicroProse. I know MPS uploads their stuff to CIS.

I think the file is f3maps.exe, and I would like to get it too. Also, the
Falconr program at wuarchive came with two squadrons from Compuserve, the
386th and the 387th. Anybody else made any squadrons up with some really good
people? With the Falconr program, you can import squadrons into your current
squadron.

A last Falcon request: does anyone out there have some good Red Flag missions
that they would care to share? Now that the semester is over, I finally have
some real time to mess with Falcon. I would like to see some more Red Flag
missions though.

Thanks!

I will try to upload F3Maps and Falcnr to wuarchive. I don't know of any good
Red Flag missions BUT F3Maps will take care of that for you. F3Maps enables
you to fly "red flag" missions in ANY theater. It will also RANDOMLY generate
Red Flag missions and allows more variablity than F3's own Red Flag editor.
If I can remember to bring in the F3Maps program from home, I will try to
upload it tomorrow-- DON'T hold your breath. But I will get to it.

I am for it too, I started this stupid idea after half a bottle of Vodka, and
trying to read news. I didn't have the patiance to skip all the other RPG
stuff, so I posted that. Now, we only need somebody to do the voting since my
account is small as hell, can even take more than 2000 mails.

Its been awhile, but from what I remember, you had to drop everything in your
inventory somewhere, except a certain sword. Maybe that's your problem.
