I just saw and bought Battle Isle by UBI Soft (dist. by EA) today.
I bought the 3.5" disks. My system is a 386/20MHz with 4MB RAM
and running DR DOS 6.0.
The game installed just fine and looks interesting, BUT it won't
let me select a computer opponent. Everything else works EXCEPT
that. Has anyone else come across this? Is there a way around
this? Please let me know ASAP before I give these guys a call
and really ream them for releasing a game with such an obvious
problem. Yes, the box did say 1-2 players and the docs say you
can select HUMAN or COMPUTER opponent. I even tried installing
the EGA version, but the same thing happened.
Thanks in advance!

You need to change the map name. I don't have it in front of me, but check the "Quick start reference Guide" (I think that's what it's called). It's explained there... --Ewok!
