Evidence I have: 1.) I think a documentary said the discs were lost. I assumed this was a joke. 2.) I was told that Al Lowe said he would never make a larry 4, so when he did make a sequel he called it larry 5. 3.) In the following message; read what the poster said under larry 4: This seems to coincide with point 1.) http://groups.google.com/groups?as_umsgid=85b3jj%24t10%241%40news7.svr.pol.c o.uk&hl=en He can't be joking as it isn't funny enough to be a joke. Which of these explanations is true? -- Spliff Monkey Change EAT.SPAM to Optimusprime in my address.ICQ#: 12389391 Texas Chainsaw Massacre Home Page: http://zap.to/massacre

First of all: The second choice is true. However you might consider asking Richard about the disks! ;-) Pascal -- "Once you think you are someone, you stopped becoming somebody" - Dieter Nuhr

Oh no, it was merely a multiplayer adventure game. Take a look at http://www.allowe.com/L-4.htm : 2.) After LSL3, Al Lowe didn't want to do any more LSL games (he was probably sick of doing the same type of game over and over again) so he said that he would not make a Larry 4. When they found out it was a lucrative series, and he had to go back and make some more, he couldn't go back on his word, could he. : 3.) Which of these : explanations is true? Aparently, you haven't played the LSL games, have you? Welcome to Al Lowe's sense of Humor. (Actually, I found it funnier than most of his humor, perhaps thats the reason for your confusion? ;-)) There was no LSL4. There ws a satire product, called The Laffer Utilities, which was a stire of all those desktop products (ie, calender, writing program and other humorized utilities for Win 3.1). It came out as version 4.0 as a joke. But there is no LSL4. -- -- Edan Harel
