I keep getting lockups in sanitarium in chapter two even after i applied the
socalled patch (sanipatch1.exe).
It is a file that should be placed into the datamap as I understood it well.
Am I doning something wrong or using the wrong patch or is it in the wrong
folder?
Any help is welcome
thx.

I'm not sure what exactly the cause of your problem is, but tell you
what: I have finished the game twice, and in the second run I was
already in Chapter 4 when I realized I had forgotten to install the
patch - which was supposed to prevent possible lock-ups in Chapter 2,
AFAIR. So... maybe you would be perfectly able to complete the game
without applying the thing at all? At least I was.

I applied the patch after I encountered the lock-up so it is locking up
anyway with or without patch

Did you restart the game after patching it or use one of your old saves
to continue? Using an old save probably wouldn't work since it would
contain some of the pre-patched code.
