Help!! MS Sidewinder 3D Pro works only in analog mode

Hi

   I have a problem here. I have recently upgraded my PC to a P400,
128MRAM with Ati Rage Pro IIc and VooDoo 3dfx II. I have pulled the SB
AWE64 card from my old PC and install it into my new PC.  However,
when i plug and install my MS Sidewinder 3D Pro, I can only make it
work in analog mode (ie. I can't get the extra 4 buttons to work).
Even the joystick control panel shows that I have the 3D pro selected,
but its actually in Thrustmaster Flightstick Pro mode. 

What am I doing wrong here? Are there extra drivers that I should be
using or a patch?

Did you install the 3.02 driver from Microsoft?

Did you install the SideWinder 3D Pro patch after you installed the 3.02
driver?
(This file goes into your windows/system/ directory.)

You need the 3.02 profiler software and drivers from
www.microsoft.com/hardware
