NHL2000 Online - lockups with Sygate

I'm accessing the internet through Sygate from a client computer, and
whenever I try to use the Online Matchup thingy in NHL2000, my system
locks up. I'm thinking the program isn't able to communicate through
Sygate and that's why it's locking up. Anybody else having the same
problem, or know what TCP/UDP ports the game is using??

Any help would be great.

Yes, I'm having that same problem for some reason. I'm not using Sygate and
I'm on a cable modem. The day the game came out, I tested it from work (T3)
and was able to connect fine. Coming home to my cable modem, the game
locked up as soon as I tried to enter Internet Matchup, displaying the
"Initializing Network" text. Thinking that it was a problem going through
the cable modem, I brought it back to work to try it again, and nothing... I
haven't been able to connect at all from either place, although all other
network packets get through just fine. I assumed the EA NHL network was
down. Hope I find an answer. If you find anything, let me know. Thanks.
