Hi all, Does anyone have any idea when Formula 1 Grand Prix by Microprose will be coming out for the PC??? I have an Atari ST owning friend, and an AMIGA owning friend, and BOTH have a copy of this absolutely phenomenal racing game (BAR NONE WHATSOEVER) on their respective machines. First I heard it was coming out in April, then released possibly in June/July and now I hear they've (they being Microprose) had problems with it, and it wont be out till Christmas!!! I cant bear this wait! Anyone who can shed some light, please do! I cant bear this wait! Haven't heard any more about the release date than you. Did hear a reasonable amount of bitching about the driving model being less realistic than Indianapolis 500. Two other racing sims are due for near release. "Road and Track Presents: Grand Prix Unlimited" (my pick for the ungainly title award). Looks like it now will feature 16 GP tracks and a course designer. I think earlier previews had said it would only have a couple of GP courses. See the ad in the most recent CGW. Also "Car and Driver" is supposed to be GP based, I believe. They will *probably* beat F! GP (which will be called World Circuit) to the stores. David Masten mas...@beta.lanl.gov
