Falcon 3.0 Wingmen commands?

Has anyone succeeded in getting wingmen to execute a drag or bracket
maneuver? I try to execute a bracket from say 10 nm out (head on
encounter with a single opponent) but my wingman always responds "unable".
I'm confused. (Someone told me that you had to be engaged but this doesn't
seem to work).

I was able to begin a drag once, but it fell apart. The problem is that
the wingmen typically don't have the enemy on radar soon enough to do
a bracket. Hopefully, that's fixed in the D patch.

They work. You have to have your aspect angle right. They don't work head
on. You have to set them up by turning one way, while giving the command
to bracket the other way. Or you can first get your wingman to break.
It doesn't hurt to keep sending the message, so keep playing with it.

I just figured it out yesterday, so it's still a little vague to me, but
sometimes it works like a charm. The basic idea is to set up a situation
where the manuever will work.
