CGW has an article about a multi-player Battletech game available for play via Genie. Has anyone tried this? What costs are involved? There was a coin-op game called B.O.T.T.S. developed by Microprose in the arcades a few months ago. It was in the same vein as the more elaborate Battletech Center in Chicago. I thought that it could mean there might be a version developed for the PC but have not heard anything. -- Rob Gibson, WREK 91.1 MHz, 40000 watts - Georgia Tech, Atlanta Georgia, 30332 Studio: 404/894-2468 FAX: 404/853-3066 ARPA: dsr...@prism.gatech.edu

Well, it is in beta at the moment. Cost is $6.00 an hour. Essentially it is Activisions MechWarrior with multiplayer capability. The game is only for the IBM :) and the graphics are EGA (yuck). Its pretty fun though playing with other people. If you have MechWarrior then you will get the hang of this one real easily. Me? I'm waiting for the SVGA Air Warrior to get past beta testing. Now that is a sweet multiplayer game. >There was a coin-op game called B.O.T.T.S. developed by Microprose in the >arcades a few months ago.
