Okay, I've done this with Ultima Underworld, and I'll do it with ST25.  I'll
give out hints or spoilers to ST25.  Please don't ask me about UW since it's
been a while since I removed it from my HD to free up some space.

But anyway... to answer your question,

                     

Examine the bomb, the switch and the wires connecting the bomb and the switch.
Then tell Spock to go work on the *wires*.  Then you will know how to get
through the force field in front of the bridge.

   Spoiler for getting people out of brig...

   To get them out of the Brig... See the bomb through the force-field? It's on
the other side of the firce-field. You can't reach it... but it has wires 
leading from it, through the field and to the keypad. Use Spock on the wires
and he will cut them. Case solved.

   One of the peple then give you a clue.

   SPOILER FOR GETTING TO THE BRIDGE!...

   Recharge the Plasma torch you found in the Hallway with, I forgot it was
either the phasor or the tricorder. Then use it where the prisoner told you to.

About getting onto the bridge.....

A much better way of doing it (you get a better rating) is to fix the
transporter. I guess if you've read this far a spoiler won't hurt, but just
in case

use the welder on the bits of metal, this will create a bit for the
tranmogrifier (I think thats what it's called), Get spock to use this on the
transporter and transport you into the bridge.
