Well I've got a question about what was posted by someone. Someone made the comment about reducing speed to warp factor 1. How do you reduce speed. Also I doesn't matter which way I head I seam to never be able to catch up with the Enterprise II. Any comments on that. Also has anybody else (Like me.) took the alien weapon from off the Harry Mudd salvage ship? I didn't really notice any extra powerful punch from it. Is it just me?

I'm receiving a very weak spoiler alert! Use the numbers to change warp factor. If you haven't been changing speed, then the other Enterprise has been maneuvering around you at high warp factors before you can aim at him. I'm not really sure if the weapon helped at all. Maybe it wasn't installed yet, maybe it does work (Didn't notice a difference), or maybe it does work, and the other E. has more powerful shields, but you can complete the Mudd episode without taking the weapon and be in deep do-do when you come up against the E. Okay, I'm still puzzling over the manual and how to get characters to use objects. I managed to get McCoy to use his Medkit on someone, but I'm still trying to get them to use anything else--like a phaser!!!! It's truly frustrating to sit and watch all four of the landing party get mowed down again and again. itsy-bitsy spoiler ahead This is just in the first scenario, when the android Klingons pop up as you approach the cave. (Yes, Spock managed to inform me of that tidbit before he caught a blaster in the chest.) Anyway, I've mucked about with the controls to little success.... Could someone mail me instructions on how to put the phaser in Ensign Evertts hand, and then blast the Klingon android? Or, should I be up to something else at that point?? *sigh*whimper even* Thanks, Cos
