I am stuck in an endless loop in the Castle of Dr Brain!

I go from the Elevator Maze and find the South Exit.  This puts me
into the Time Room.  Solving the Time Room gives me the message "Enter
Elevator to go to work" (or similar).  Once in the elevator, I find
the South Exit... right back to the Time Room.

Can someone please give me a hint for solving this one?

Email and I will summarize.

Two replies, both right(!), led me to search for a second exit.
