Tell me, did I SAY "NG doesn't do a great job" ? No. What I pointed out
was
that there are many great sites out there not called "Next Generation"
who 
don't abuse the USENET in the fashion that NG does.
Maybe NGO is a great website; maybe it isn't. But even if it is then
that's 
no excuse for them to post about every single fucking little update on
the 
USENET, is it?

Let me set the record straight: I don't mind the ODD "come visit our
site"
post; once a week would be fine with me, or when there really is some
earth 
shattering "EXCLUSIVE!!!!!" that the world must know about. What I do
mind is 
when it becomes a daily chore to have to filter out the same shit over
and 
over again. "Use a killfile" I hear you say. Well it so happens that
some of 
us don't have newsreaders with killfiles or are not prepared to take the
time 
to download one. Why -should- we just because some asshole keeps posting
the
same shit? In many ways, I would be happier if Mr Svensson and the other
offenders simply did a proper spamming job, because then everyone would
just ignore the shit he posts.
