UUCP : ncar!boulder!ccncsu!longs.lance.colostate.edu!bb740597 bb74...@longs.lance.colostate.edu Been playing Bane of the Cosmic Forge in anticipation of "upcoming" (someday) sequel. However, I have run into problems in the Dwarven mines. MAJOR SPOILERS I ftped over the solution from the remote site. That map shows two corridors which are not present in my game. These would allow me to go southward to the southernmost exits ofthe mines as well as that wonderful fountain, and the miner's chisel. BUT, these corridors don't seem to be there. Do I need to do something to open them up? Or is my version of the game buggy. One reason I tend toward the latter is that on the stairs directly across from Smitty's forge, when I go up the stairs, there is a single alcove to the right. However, when I step there, I receive the message "IN ROCK". Seems that the game thinks that the space is a wall even if I can go there???? Any help would be most appreciated as I haven't a clue where to go from here. I've beaten the Toll Troll and been to the top of the mountain, but that doesn't seem to help.
