I've been playing Wolfenstein 3-D for the past few days, and have noticed that if I play for more than about a half of an hour I start to get real nauseous and start to sweat. Very much like sea-sickness. Is this a Nazi plot to take over the minds of computer game players everwhere? Has anyone ever experienced this phenomenon with other 3-D games? Flight simulators? I remember back in my Atari 800 days there was a maze game called Wayout that was similar in perspective to that of Wolf3D but it never made me nauseous? Maybe it's the fact that I'm Jewish, and the though of Nazis turns my stomach sour? But you'd think that I'd really like to see all the Nazi's get blown away (I really do) .... Hmmm. I wonder if there's ever been a study of this phenomenon in and medical litterature? -- Steve A.
