Xerox messed up with their products which were light years ahead of MS. In 1985 @ Xerox you could click a la internet all over the world. B.G. is a great business man and no one can take that away and MS is great at administrating their system and the various applications that interface with it. BUT it is nowhere the last word in operating systems. Look around and you will see them begining to emerge. There are unix derivatives that almost there. The main advantage that MS has is its hold on application developers. When competitors begin to get applications that can do what MS can then it will recede. Even BG acknowledges this possibilty. MS releases systems that are full of "features" which I would call "bugs". As folks become more computer literate so will the products they will purchase and folks like MS and their competitors will be forced to produce better systems. Donn
