That isnt always true!
I have recently moved some databases from M$ Worxs v3 for DOS to
M$ Works v3 for Windows and although the program imports the file, all
the positioning info for the fields in the card layout is lost. Many of
the fields, field names and lables appearing on top of each other.
The only suggestion I hav received from one of the M$ news groups is to
move them as CSV files, which is worse as all field names and lables
are then lost.
It would also appear that Excel cannot import Works Spredsheet files,
and Access cannot import Works Database files!
This seems to show a complete contempt for existing customers.
