Yes, but as window's is bundled with most PC's so is MS Office. I wouldn't be suprised if MS enforce Office to be with window's in certain packages. I know they seem to be very heavy (arm twisting variety) into getting vendors to accept bundles That hardly leaves much to much for the competition. > > What I don't really like about the "My OS is better than your OS" > postings is that there is always somebody that more or less > insinuates that Win95 users are somehow inferior to non-Win95 users > and this is what bothers me. More or less everybody in these Acorn Newsgroup's have *chosen* RISCOS over other OS's (and continue to stick with it) The average punter in the street who pop's down to curry's or Dixon's hasn't a clue what he's buying so he has not necessarily got a 'good head' on his shoulders. (and before you respond maybe you have but joe public hasn't). He got what he bought because he had no choice. For the same reason he is not interested or need multi-threading etc..etc. The desktop is his main visual aspect of the OS and this is where Window's falls down at the moment (And is still bottom of the pile...) -- File Transfer FAQ st...@woodfrd.demon.co.uk Freeadds: Sales,wants,swops.-> Mail to :ad...@woodfrd.demon.co.uk LinkBase: THE Acorn link page...'
