Perhaps the concept of big is worse is driving this discussion. Taint
necessrily so.

One thing Microsoft does get is feedback, tons of it. A lot from me. I
returned FS95 because it would not run on my 486. THEY TOOK IT BACK !

When MS Excel was just a mac product, and the only choice was 123, the
made a PC version and it was more useable. Print preview without exiting
the basic program. Sideways printing without a seperate program........

Microsoft is a easy target to beat up. It appears insensitive but it is
not and has not been. You cannot make a product in this business without
Beta testing and there is just not enough time to do it. After a long
time on the bleeding edge, I buy nothing(except FS95) that is version
x.01 at least. I buy CD rom packages where possible. Office 97 will have
to wait for 6 months for the rev.01 to come out.

Microsoft brought excellence to the workplace when there was no
competition. There is still competition and in six months FS95 will have
a version 6.11. It will fix most of the problems like 5.11 and free
market will fill the gaps.

Please quiet you spleens and try to be constructive with your criticism.
You will live longer.

John
