Make a company that has no style and copies and steals, and reduces productivity and harms the industry (in some cases) and crushes competition not through superior products but through FUD, etc... and some people take offense. Do not get me wrong. MS does do an OK job of some products for a while... (Ususally version3 of their products is when they are getting the bugs out, and its not yet completely bloated... by 5 or 6 the application is often unusably feature ridden). And they are like most large companies - they do GOOD and BAD. But overall MS is the pefect example of bad american products that still result in profits.... and the MS group-think herd mentality is revolting to people that have an ounce of creativity and their features hack are insulting to users with a pitance of style or understanding of UI/Graphics Arts/etc. MS may be starting to get more resentment than they diserve... just maybe... but even if that was true, we are not yet close to making up for all the damage they've done (and their bleating followers have done) to this industry and our culture. What goes around, comes around.... and MS may soon get what they have given so freely. -- David K. Every MacKiDo Warrior - The Power of the Macintosh Way! -- =A91997 DKE.
