New York City - May 4, 1996 -- VisionNET Productions=99 announces the
start of GAME TIME! A weekly audio program about computer games
available in Real Audio 2.0

With the recent explosion of internet gaming, and the growing
number of people getting online, it seems more and more people are
taking mixing the two. VisionNET President Scot Rubin has been an avid
gamer and reviewer for years, and was driven to provide a weekly forum
for hardware and software reviews, tips, hints, and lots of funny
commentary. The idea is to offer the listener an entertaining look at
the hobby they love so much. From their Multimedia Network at
www.vn1.com, Game Time! is just the first program of many to come for
the young network. In addition to regular weekly segments, GAME TIME!
will also interview industry insiders. Interviews for preliminary shows
include Jay Cotton, the creator of KALI software, & Tom Zito President
of Digital Pictures. In addition, listeners will also occasionally get
to hear interviews with the charactors from the games. Listener mail,
technical help, guest reviews and general mayhem will all work their way
into Game Time! We believe that internet audio shows can be different,
and in the near future Game Time will be broadcast live each week, and
listeners will have a chance to gripe and gloat about their likes and
dislikes, using chat and various net phone products like I-phone.
Gaming software and hardware companies will have the ability to get
their latest press releases and info out to their customers, on a weekly
basis, so the news is fresh unlike gaming magazines that are plagued by
printing and distribution times. We will collect the facts, rumors and
secret leaks, that gamers crave. We are also currently developing a
multimedia version of game time that will offer web pages that pop up in
sync with what we are discussing in the show. Game Time will also
sponsor Many internet gaming competitions that allow listeners to
compete for prizes. The show will initially run approximately 30 minutes
in length.
