I have absolutely no problems with those drivers (or even earlier drivers) playing back MIDI and digital audio with CakeWalk under Win95. > Now, any game I download and try to run in DOS, works just fine as long as I > choose no sound! Again. I've used the RAP-10 just fine for game music by choosing the "General MIDI" option (ie, the RAP-10 is hardware compatible with an MPU-401 in Uart mode). Of course, most game software does not support using the RAP-10 for sound effects and voice. It's not SB compatible. > Anyone have any suggestions? Email me with a list of what devices you have in your system. (I assume that you've ensured that you don't have any IRQ or base address conflicts?). Open the Control Panel's MultiMedia notebook, flip to the MIDI page, and list all of the devices you see in the list under "Single Instrument". Also, list the devices in CakeWalk's device lists. You may want to visit my Web Site at http://www.servtech.com/public/jglatt Click on "Tutorials for MIDI Users", and read the FAQ "MIDI connections and computer setup" as that has lots of info on configuring MIDI under Win95. Also, read "Roland Audio Card FAQ". That has lots of useful info about the RAP-10
