Of course it's an attempt to hide something, you're E-mail address!!
How else can you post in a group like this (those) if you don't want
your boss/mother/sister/brother/father/enemy/friend/wife/husband to know.
Picture this, you're at the last stage in "Out of this world" and you just
don't know how to get to the control panel and push the last button. You
take a chance, post a request for help in comp.sys.ibm.pc.games and this
happens:
Your brother spots you from a computer in high school. He starts to make
fun of you and tells your kidsister that "you, at your age, still plays
around with childish toys". Later at super your sister talks loud
about it. Your father who's very religious get furious and forces your
mother to have a talk with your wife about this. Your wife, who finally had
it with your "playing that damn, stupid, childish machine", leaves you
for your best friend who happens to be your boss. In turn he learn that
you been playing computer games instead of working with that (to him) very
important project. So you get fired, thrown out on the street, no job,
no wife, no family and hang out in the local papers as the big nerd of the
town. And there's nothing left for you to do than to lie down on a track
and wait for the next train to come.
In the normal-people-hungry-for-little-action-at-safe-distance crowds of people shake their heads
at safe distance and say something like:
"Non of this would happened if they had a anon-service on the Internet".
A bit black scenario maybe, but as they say: "shit happens".
Juft!! I need your anon-service please restart it ;-)
