Well, perhaps I am jumping the gun and making assumptions. But since "Merchant Prince" has actually been picked up by Talon Soft (if I'm not mistaken,) and their latest project: Noble Armada became vapor- ware (which I'm bitterly disappointed by because I LOVED the demo!), and they have no tech support dept (that they are advertising anyway,) I guess I just assumed their software dept. was defunct. Don't get me wrong, when I wrote them I was indede very polite and nice, I used to work tech support. I appreciated nice requests. =) And I got a kind and quick response. I just seriously doubt they're in any position to start releasing any new patches for a game that unfortunately did VERY poorly in sales (which is also a shame, because I loved this game. But I have to be realistic.) But you're right, you never know until you actually try. =) And one shouldn't complain about something they haven't done yet! =) Liam In article <95rq5m$hv1c3$1...@ID-63350.news.dfncis.de>, "David Short" <David...@Wright.Edu> wrote: > Pehaps I'm mistaken but isn't this the same company that > within the last few days announced they were releasing > and update of Merchant Prince? > > Seems to me a nicely worded e-mail asking that an > updated installation script be made available as a > download would be appropriate. > > dfs > > LRW <li...@nospahmcelticbear.com> wrote in message > news:xLdg6.133$D13.275227@nnrp2.sbc.net... > > ROTFL!
