ROTFL! Yeah that'd be a good idea if their computer games dept wasn't pretty much defunct. =) They don't even have a computer game tech dept. And even if they did, "Emporer Of The F.S." is about 5 years old and I'm certain they wouldn't actively support it anymore. I did however write to a general e-mail address for them, and someone wrote back suggesting I either let it install DX3 and then reinstall DX7 (even though I told him what I mentioned here: That DX3 never actually really installs,) or he can send me some registry based fix. Which he hasn't sent yet, and I'm not sure is really going to do anything. But thanks anyway. =) Liam "shadows" <sha...@whitefang.com> wrote in message news:slrn9825os.kq.shadows@rage.whitefang.com... > LRW li...@nospahmcelticbear.com wrote: > >Anyone know how to install Holistic's Emperor of the Fading Suns bypassing > >the mandatory DirectX3 installation? > > > >I have WinME with DX7.1, and every time I try installing, it wants to > >install DX3.
