I currently use just a CH Flightstick with is exceptional in my mind for
it's price (~$45 Cdn). The grip is full and there is lots of movement
available. Although you can't adjust the tension on it the springs seem
more than adequete to return it to centre position when released. It
doesn't have any suction pads but due to the large base I feel it doesn't
need them.
A newer version called the CH Flightstick Pro has been (or will be)
released just recently. If you're looking for bells and whistles it seems
to have quite a few. It is rumoured to be better than the Thrustmaster
Pro, current king of flight joysticks, complete with a coolie hat, four
buttons on the stick and (I believe) a programmable interface with a
seperate pad. There was some talk about it just last week. If you want
the best of the best this is supposed to be it.
