Brian....
A nice feature of DOS 6 will keep you from having to rename your config.sys 
each time you play. DOS 6 allows you to have a number of boot configurations 
as well as control over what files are loaded at startup. If, when you boot, 
and the machine says "Starting MS-DOS", hitting the F8 key will allow you step 
through each line of your config.sys and hitting F5 will not load either your 
config.sys or autoexec.bat. Thought this might help :)
