Beholders are just plain hard to kill! I've been through the game twice, and the second time I saved the dust of dissapearance from the fire knife quest. With this no magic users of any sort can hurt you, and you can (I have) kill the entire beholder corps, yes all of the "cast of thousands!" In any event, use haste spells, strength and/or enlarge spells, blink spells, and try several times, it isn't easy. The only way to rid yourself of the bond is to kill its master, but I will give you a hint here, there are no bond masters in the beholder corps tower or dungeon. I suspect you need to seek green to the north. Try north-east. If it is green you seek, send me E-mail, or repost, I can help. I am not following you with your #3 above. You will find two pretty cool characters to join your party when you seek green to the north. They turn out to be the two that are depicted on the start up artwork. Good luck, you'll need it. -- (( Andrew Poutiatine '92 Ducati 900SS (( )) DoD#0485 "I don't know where I )) (( u10...@BETA.LANL.GOV was then, but I'm (( )) Los Alamos National Lab there now!" -W.H. ))
