Hello world! I have to repeat this message, because I'm getting more and more worried about this assignment. Yes, I need A C source for a 3D game on PC or X-windows (not battlezone). The game must be as simple as possible so I can understand it myself! Here what I've got so far, from: - reeuwijk@nl.tudelft.et.dutentb: =============================== If you are that desperate, you might have a look at a book with the title "Real-time 3d graphics for the Atari ST" or something very similar to it. As illustration they construct a simple 'flight-simulator-like' program that allows you to fly around in a landscape with blocks etc. The sources (I suspect in 68000 assembler) can be ordered on floppy seperately. The magazine 'ST Format' often has ads for the book, or you might try a good bookshop. It is quite cheap (dfl. 50 = #13 = $25). I haven't seen the book or the software myself, but I have read some reviews of it. - Anssi Saari, s10...@ee.tut.fi: =============================== the latest X version of bzone can be found in /pub/bzone.tar.Z on auk.warp.cs.cmu.edu (128.2.242.102), available via anonymous ftp. the only known problem is one with olwm, use the -defaultcolormap option to get around it (or use a real wm such as uwm, twm, etc..) - bob@EDU.IASTATE: ================ I would also be interested in whatever you find/get!!! Also, if you are interested in flight-simulator C source for the Mac, write back, and I will e-mail it... Thanx to all of you. But I just need a little bit more. Cheers and love to all. -- JB (Jean-Baptiste) <================> ----------------------------------------------------------- " A *kiss* is that little rosy dot over the "i" of Loving " -- Cyrano de Bergerac internet : ph...@csd.brispoly.ac.uk (ENGLAND) ======== la...@gpx2.elchp7.jussieu.fr (FRANCE, biensur!) bitnet : su@frp7un51.bitnet ====== janet : ph_su@uk.ac.brispoly.csd =====
