Wasteland 2 and GoG

I am pissed off, I really am.

I decided to get my copy of Wasteland 2 from GoG ... got my key,
registered it, downloaded the game. With some problems, because one
of the 4GB files had to be downloaded twice.

Ho hum, installed and played. Patched at the beginning of October.

Now it's November. Patch 3 is out! Downloaded, tried to apply patch.

Nope. This patch does not work with your installation of the game.

WfF. No help from inExile's forums.

Ok, so the installer on GoG now is a different version (I can only
surmise that if patch 2 was still available, I might have been able to
do an incremental patch ... but it's not to be found).

So, the installer downloaded for the new version, the first binary and
the third binary downloaded. The 2nd binary? Not so much. It gets close
to 3 GB and it breaks. 3 times so far.

What a fscking waste of my time and bandwidth. Not only eating my data
allowance, but tying up my computer for days and nights, since GoG is
serving up the data at speeds that vary between 23 and 240kB/sec.

God damn. I know Steam can also be very slow, but this really is taking
the cake.

I am not happy, and I can only advise against using GoG for buying this
game, drm free or not.
