I subscribe to their newsletter but I've never heard of any of their
games. Do they look good? Play well? Difficult?

Strategy First publish (and in some cases only distribute) a wide
variety of PC games from different developers and genres. You'll have to
ask about a specific game or series, to get a meaningful reply.

Thanks. No biggie. If I see something in their next newsletter I
will let you know!

There was a tank game (I don't remember the name) which is rare to see
available, and a Navy game and Sub game from what I remember. And a
couple war theatres that are not represented in the main stream. I
used to play a lot of old board game with the icons, etc.... But many
years ago!

Not that I have the brain cells or patience left! Just curious if
anyone is playing their games or these types of games.

If the tank game was Combat Mission or one of its sequels, then it's
worth a look. You can check out demos at <http://www.battlefront.com>
These are turn-based tactical games, where the action (once you make all
the choices during a turn) unfolds in real-time simultaneously for you
and the opponent.

Thanks. I get their newsletter too. That is a nice scroller they
have!

Thanks, I will take a look.
