The real-time strategy (RTS) game Supreme Commander 2 has some bugs, but like Total Annihilation, it has a great interface and it does multiplayer reasonably well. I use voice-activated scripting to play, so the frantic clicking does not bother me. In fact, I hate fast clicking. I think fast clicking has no place in a strategy game. While avoiding carpal tunnel syndrome, apparently I am doing pretty well. If the click-festers and mouse-slingers ever complain about my mechanized clicking, I will suggest playing slowly so they can keep up. I won't reply to any of the follow-up comments to my replays there on that moderated and censored forum where you must coddle the sheep (long live free speech on UseNet). http://www.gamereplays.org/supremecommander2/replays.php?game=62&show=search_submit&&army_1=all&army_2=all&map=1374

Have played three games 1v2 since posting, won all three. But have lost at least one 1v1. Playing by voice activated scripting, I can play forever. I can keep up with the fastest hard-core clickers with little effort, it's a riot. The game still moves way too fast. But maybe after I crush them all, they will submit to playing slower. And even though the game moves incredibly fast at times, I just have to learn the reactions (takes time and is difficult, but that is a strategic fun part). I come from a chess background. Real-time strategy (RTS) is the greatest. The lack of frantic clicking makes RTS the ultimate strategy game. Slower would be nice, but you can't go slow enough to understand everything that's going on and react perfectly. The frantic clicking was the problem.
