For those who are playing Dominions 3

The Dom3Minions server is back up to 100% health. So it is also back to 
running daily re-generation of the maps. Checking it can give you 50 in 
each size so that you can grab any that look useful to you. Particularly in 
the really large sizes which are difficult for some home computers to 
generate.

I ALSO have 3 specialty maps that are re-genereated on a daily basis. 

The Partial_anos map is a partial indepependents version of that parganos 
map which comes with the game. It removes the ability to recruit 
independents on most provinces (only about 1 in 10 is left recruitable). 
This cuts down on micromanagement, and also makes the AI play better.

The Aran_dom map is a re-generation for the Aran map which came with the 
game. It is run thru the SemiRand program (again at 10%) to place surprise 
provinces around the map. Play carefully.

The Poke-in-the-Eye map is a Chaos version of the Eye map which comes with 
the game. It is NOT recommended for newbies. Take nothing for granted.

Also if you want to try variations such as SemiRand or Chaos without 
downloading a map, they are also used in the hosted games which are always 
open. Some of them allow solo play also.
