I *was* looking forward to it a couple of years ago, but it
drifted off my radar. It's great that it's finally getting
released. Thanks for bringing it up.

Incidentally, it seems to me that the many similarities to the
card game Magic: The Gathering must be a coincidence. I've always
thought MoM was more a combination of the best elements of Master
of Orion with many good elements of Civilization.

The success of Elemental: War of Magic for me will be hinged on
how much fun the combat system is. If it's slow-witted and
clunky, i.e., like World of Wonders, I probably won't much like
the game. Combat should be fast-paced and a breeze to control.
