BUT THIS IS NOT A USUAL STRATEGY GAME!
It is LOW on graphics and sound and user interface. HIGH on strategy and 
replayability. It is NOT for everyone. I HIGHLY recommend that EVERYONE try 
the DEMO before paying money for this game! 

The game has been patched/updated frequently. In fact it was just recently 
patched for Netbook screen sizes and updating the sound capabilities. So 
the demo is quite abit out of date, particularly in the area of user 
interface. But it will still give you an idea of whether you can live with 
its faults in order to enjoy its advantages. 

The demo only allows research to 4th level of magic, and only playing 5 of 
the (now 63) nations. I dont understand the selection of those 5. They are 
not a good selection for showing the many different play styles, not the 
most interesting, not the most fun for new people. 

Anyway, in order to facilitate the many people beginning to show interest I  
am re-opening Demo-only multiplayer games on my server. They use one of the 
maps that comes with the demo, and toss in 3 AIs from the non-accessable 
nations, so you can play solo if you want. Or when 5 players join (the max 
nations for human players in the demo) it will automatically start. Or hit 
the start button anywhere in between (1-5 player games). Have fun. The demo
