I think that for safety's sake, the barbed wires on each end, start
about an inch from the end. This is why you clamp it with the index
and thumb fingers if you wanted to use it for a mouth floss. To use it
for mouthwash, you would roll it up, drop in a cup of Listerine or
similar, shove it your mouth and carry out the act with a swishing
motion.
