Win95 is coming but...

When will these games be released?

CivNet
Metal Lords
Magic : The Gathering Network
Command and Conquer
Arena 2 : Dagger Fall
Wing Commander 4
Civilizations 2000
Ultima 9
Privateer 2

For their sake, I hope they can run in Win95 environment or they may be
losing sales.

Lose sales? Hmmmm....could be if they are for Win 95 only, they will
lose sales. Long live Dos and editing (to BootWin=0)in MSDOS.SYS with
Win '95!

CivNet is for Windows, and the Ultima IX FAQ says that Ultima IX will
be '95 native.

it doesnt really matter, i have win95 and all you need to do to run
dos games is to do a boot to dos most games do work if you try to run
them directly from the win95 gui, but in my experiences they are
awfully sluggish.

Oh yes! If they can't run under Win95, WIN95 will lose sales.

Sluggish? Panzer General and Descent (just examples of strategic and
action games) run flawlessly on Windows 95, without resorting to
MS-DOS Mode.

You don't have to worry about anything. Win95 runs about 98% of games,
and almost all those run at near-DOS speed. And if anything doesn't work
in win95 or is slow in it, just boot into DOS.

Actually I much prefer Dos. With all of these fancy shmancy WIN95 features,
the game will be slown down to annoying levels, no? (unless of course you
have one hell of a processing chip)
