All hard drives have horror >stories to tell. I have some doubts that it's just spam. I bought a brand new Quantum Fireball ST 3.2 and 4 months later it was dead. Nothing special was done to the HD, it just started developing bad clusters. And I'm still waiting for a replacement drive. It sure is taking a long time. This was probably the last Quantum I bought and probably the last drive I bought from this importer.
