I got a PC Computing(July 1997, of course) the other day in the mail
that talked about the new 500 Mhz. The chip was called Alpha 21164. It's
amazing Intel didn't build it, since they seem to be ahead of the pack.
They profile some machines in here and they are all NT machines and they
claim that the "Scream'n Demon" is they fastest way to run NT in the
planet. I wouldn't know if this'll beat the Omega Red(which I serious
doubt runs NT) computer you guys are talking about, but I'd be happy
with it. I'm guessing this Red Omega has some kind of its own OS or
probably a form of UNIX.
