Myst in my opinion was the single most over-hyped pixel-hunting 
'adventure' game of all times. The game they hyped and sold to non-
gamers. Because the pictures were so pretty.

It's an adventure, You look at gifs and you hunt around with the cursor 
until you find the right pixel. You click on it. Then you go some other 
place and hunt for another pixel. Then you figure out what to do with 
the crap you found. I _think_ occasionally you get a multiple choice to 
pick from, but I am a bit vague on that.

It's not my idea of fun. I got it as a freebie, maybe with a video card 
or something - I spent maybe a couple of hours with it and gave up in 
disgust, I'd hardly call it a 'game'.

But that's my take. ymmv ...
