Mostly for Linux users, Laptops, Servers, or for people who are modding the game. While Illwinter is tied up with their new project (we dont know what it is other than it is NOT a Dom4) the actualy additions seem more oriented toward empowering the modders to take over. BUT if you plan to join in on multiplayer games then you still probably need to upgrade your copy.
