After you install the game...
right-click on the shortcut
select properties
in the shortcut tab click on find target
right-click on target and select properties
in the version tab view the Version tab

In the version tab...

File Version: 3.0.0.2 (or similar)
Description: The game / expansion
Copyright: Funny thing is this would be 3do no matter which version

Hope this helps!

Alex
