After looking for a week I managed to get a used copy of Howmworld 2. So far it seems like fun, but the difficulty sure ramps up quick. I started one level with 60,000 resource points and a nice fleet and still ran out of units and died. Even the skirmishs against the CPU seem harder. I used to have no problem with the ones in the demo, but when I play the same map with the same settings I get slaughtered every time. At least I'm having fun trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. :) Remove nospam_ to reply by email Jeff H........ Lies, All lies. Don't believe a word Difool/sayNO/steamKiller says. Yeah i had problems with the skirmish modes. I either tried to invent stuff and waste dmoney and did not build enough units to defend myself :( Or i did not event decent enough ships to defend myself. Its a fine balance you have to find. At arround about that point i got bored and deleted it :) On Sat, 29 Oct 2005 04:57:21 GMT, Jeff Holinski <nospam_Holinski@shaw.ca> wrote: >After looking for a week I managed to get a used copy of Howmworld 2. >So far it seems like fun, but the difficulty sure ramps up quick. The patch makes things much easier -- some would say too easy. // Xan, Ph.D. // I worship His Shadow.

It doesn't let you slouch. But its worth it once you get your giant fleet working well... And just a random bit of info for you. Homeworld 2 has dynamic enemies. This means that if you go into your next mission with a tiny fleet due to combat losses, that's ok, your enemy will also start off with a much smaller fleet to match you. The same goes in reverse, if you go into the next mission with a huge fleet, expect a force that can fight back. Good luck, don't give up, the ending is worth it for those who can actually beat the computer. Ceo-
