I've noticed this as well, and have determined from things I have read
that the problem is not with peoples connections, it's that they have
their servers set for WAY too many players. You apparently need some
pretty decent hardwar to handle alot of players. I have been sticking
to servers with a limit of around 12 people, and have had much much
better luck. So far, any server I have tried with 20 or more player
limits, are just as you describe (when full). The yellow connection
warning icon appears all the time, and ships zig zag all over the
place, jumping around, etc. Try one with a lower limit of people,
or less people online in general. I wanted to play with 20-30 people
but it just sucks.
