Wasn't really interested in space sims but the recent Freelancer demo tweaked my
interest in the genre. I was looking around for some other similar games and
found Wing Commander: Secret Ops, which although kinda repetative was quite
exciting. Now, I'm wondering what other gems are there in the genre that I
should look into and how much priority I should give to each. So far I have a
limited list (see below). Please suggest any other good game I may not know
about.

1. Freelancer (Its the newest so I guess it ranks No.1)
2. Wing Commander Prophecy (I heard its better than Secret Ops)
3. Freespace2 (heard good things about it)
3. Freespace (heard good things about it)
4. Its like an older version of Freelancer right?

I run win98 btw.
