Thank you Lobster. As a Wargamer staff writer I see absolutely no
compensation except for the games I recieve and an occasional bone thrown my
way in the form of t-shirt, pen, etc. We do it because we enjoy doing it. We
may not be the most prompt, or the most colorful writers, but damnit we are
honest. When articles are edited, they are edited for grammar, spelling, and
general context. They are NOT edited with bias towards any one developer,
the only bias may be in the reviewer's personal opinion, which is of course,
typical.
The donation system is better than a subscription system IMO, but it just
didn't work. Thankfully the site got financial help at this last minute
before we could have been doomed entirely of had to go to a subscription
sytstem. We all know how well that works and the general opinions on it
(i.e. combatsim.com). Let's hope we can stay afloat this time without the
need for additional financial assistance.
