This may be a silly question, but does the online server actually support php? try putting in a page called something like test.php in your webroot[1] there, with the following in it --- <?php phpinfo(); ?> <p>some dumb text</p> --- If the page shows up with reams of info on the setup and installed extensions for php then php is working fine.[2] If the some dumb text is visible at the top of the page, then php isn't running, and if nothing comes up at all, then start screaming at someone, because somethings fucked somewhere. ;) [1] or /var/www or htdocs, or whatever it is called on that system, whereever you put the frontpage of the site. [2] the html should be at the bottom of the page somewhere, and if it shows up above the fold then you have a stupidly big monitor, and a daft reolution ;) -- James jamesk[at]homeric[dot]co[dot]uk We demand rigidly defined areas of doubt and uncertainty - DNA (HHGTTG)
