Good EOB party?

After getting the game for Christmas _last year_ and never playing it, I am
getting ready to start on The EOB Trilogy. Is there a party mix (not
Chex!) that is good for all three games? Is having many milti-classed
characters (except for one human paladin, of course) better than
single-classed ones?
Thanks,

I played EOB 1 and 2 with an Human Paladin a Dwarf Fighter/Thief (because of the Lockpicks) an Elven Mage and I think an Elven Cleric.. I think I did make a good choice... I liked Single Class characters, more than Multi-Class ones because you don't need as much experience-points to reach higher Levels... So you can cast Lev 4 or Lev 5 spells earlier in time than with choosing Multi-Class heroes. -- +-----------------------------+ W +---------------------------------------+ | E-Mail: RelaX! | i | It's WING - COMMANDER III or nothing! | | re...@sbox.tu-graz.ac.at | n | Therefore Alwayz MS -DOS | +-----------------------------+ g +---------------------------------------+
